Sakura teppanyaki was absolutely fantastic! I’ve never experienced such an entertaining teppanyaki show in the U.S. The chef was incredibly fun and engaging, and had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves throughout the meal. This place is perfect for celebrations and group gatheringsβ€”I’ve already decided that I’m coming back here for my next birthday party! The drinks were also beautifully presented. I especially loved the combination of guava juice and limeβ€”it was so refreshing and delicious. I eat Japanese food quite often, and I can honestly say that the salmon sashimi here was noticeably higher quality than what I’ve had at many other Japanese restaurants. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely a place I would recommend for both the food and the experience! 🍣✨

Went to Sakura for my boyfriends birthday on a Monday night 8/3 to do Hibachi. It was a slower night, we were the only ones doing Hibachi at the time and yet the hostess and Henry made the experience incredible and unforgettable. Henry made great convo, gave us a lot of Sake, was so fun and entertaining. He said he's been doing it for 11+ years I believe. Super experienced chef and the food came out INCREDIBLE. Chicago peeps go HERE for hibachi not the bigger chains!! I promise the experience was way better than those and the food is actually amazing

We had a great second visit here. HUGE portions and so much fun. Our server Lena was super attentive and had a great sense of humor. Chef Henry killed it! He gave us a bunch of sake and did some pretty cool tricks. The food was cooked perfectly . I got the chicken and my wife got steak + tuna. She asked for the tuna rare and it came seared and perfectly rare! We had a great time with so much laughter . We really needed this :)

The location is really nice. It was a little noisy at times, but nothing too crazyβ€”definitely manageable. The food was delicious overall. I chose table service instead of the grill, and the service was great. Our server was prompt and attentive, and the food came out quickly. Everything we ordered tasted great. The only downside was the ginger salad dressingβ€”it definitely needs some improvement. Aside from that, it was a great experience and I’d happily come back.
